Everyone knows that there is no freedom in Russia and dissidents are persecuted. But almost no one knows how it happens.
For example, in 1993 there was a mass murder of dissidents in Moscow. According to the opposition channel NTV, the authorities killed at least 1,200 people. How many in total is unknown. A documentary was made about this, shown on television in 2000. The film is called "White House, Black Smoke". One of the participants of the massacre published the book "Anathema: Chronicle of the coup d'etat".
Then, in 1993, the Russian parliament tried to remove President Yeltsin from power for corruption. This was among the powers of the then Parliament. Yeltsin did not agree to voluntarily resign from power and persuaded the military and police to destroy the parliament.
Tens of thousands of citizens took the side of the parliament. They held demonstrations, and when Yeltsin gathered troops, they came to the parliament building.
During the summer of 1993, Yeltsin received support from the United States, the European Union, and Israel. For six months, newspapers and television, obedient to Yeltsin's oligarchs, engaged in rabid propaganda. They called the parliament and its defenders fascists and communists who need to be killed.
In September, military specialists from America and Israel arrived in Russia. They had to support Yeltsin's rule by force.
On October 3, the massacre began. Soldiers, policemen and criminals on Yeltsin's side killed several thousand citizens without trial and investigation.
Yeltsin retained his power.
Let me remind you that the Parliament adopted a legitimate and competent decision to impeach the President of Russia. The President had no right to disperse, and even more so to destroy the parliament. As well as killing thousands of fellow citizens without trial. But they had a different opinion about how to govern Russia. For this they were killed. In no country does the President have the right to shoot the parliament!
The most interesting thing is that the West supported Yeltsin and his henchmen. They have carried out a military coup! Everyone who supported Yeltsin now holds high government posts in Russia and inherits them. Thus, it was the Western world that created the Putin regime!
No less interesting is the fact that Yeltsin was supported by representatives of the so-called "creative intelligentsia". People who have always called themselves liberals, defenders of democratic values. Now, when they are deprived of the state feeding trough or arrested at illegal rallies, they call for help and protection from the arbitrariness of the authorities.
Both the Western world and the "liberals" in Russia have jointly created a ruling regime. He holds power tightly because he knows how to kill dissidents. He was allowed to do it once, so why shouldn't the regime continue it?
But the dissenters here are different. Not systemic "democrats", not defenders of liberal values on the payroll. Nothing terrible will ever happen to these people if they are not involved in mafia cases.
Reality is never connected with what the corporate media shows us. Their task is completely different.
As a result, the West manipulates its puppet – Putin's Russia. The West shows what a "terrible totalitarian crazy monster" threatens the free world. And the Putinists show their people how dangerous the West is. How he threatens the freedom of Russia and how he cultivates traitors – "liberals".
Both players manipulate their citizens. The task is simple – to motivate to kill.
